On Sunday night at the 73rd Annual Tony Awards, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley received the 2019 Regional Theatre Tony Award. The honor is accompanied by a grant of $25,000, made possible by City National Bank's generous support of the Creative Arts Awards. Watch the theatre accept the Tony Award.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre presents Abundance, the 1990 play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart). An epic tale of friendship set against the backdrop of the sweeping American West, Abundance will be directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, who directed last season's production ofWilliam Inge's Natural Affection. Performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on February 17. Opening night is set for this Sunday, March 1, 2015. The New Group launches its 2013-2014 season with the New York premiere of the Geffen Playhouse production of The Jacksonian, by Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley. Directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, this production features Ed Harris, Glenne Headly, Amy Madigan, Bill Pullman and Juliet Brett. Manhattan Theatre Club has created a special short film in celebration of Lynne Meadow's 40th anniversary as the visionary and artistic leader of the organization. The film premiered on Monday, June 18 during a special tribute event honoring Meadow at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre - now view the video below!

Primary Stages will present the New York premiere of Motherhood Out Loud, conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein.
