The Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival returns to its home in the historic French Quarter for its 34th annual celebration of contemporary literature, culture, theater, and the works of Tennessee Williams. More than a typical book festival, TWNOLF showcases award-winning writers, actors, musicians, and other artists in over 150 events in the French Quarter and other New Orleans venues. 

Chicago musical writing team Reddyk & Krupp are presenting a live album recording of their latest musical -- Hildegard: An Unfinished Revolution. The concert will be performed at Sleeping Village (3734 W. Belmont Ave.) on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at 7:30 pm.

Now playing at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 North Halsted, MIRACLE is providing Chicago Cubs fans and theatregoers a final opportunity to relive the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series win.

Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, will present Message In A Bottle, a collection of new mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's 2019 Musical Theater Lab.  Message In A Bottle, the company's 13th lab production, will be presented on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30pm and Sunday, June 2 at 2:00pm at The A.R.T.  / New York Theatres (502 West 53rd St, NYC).

This seriocomedy unfolds in a divorce support group where a new leader introduces unorthodox methods that just might work. Psychodrama runs February 14-March 3, 2019.

Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF is seeking bold, new, full-length plays to be featured as staged readings at PlayFest 2019. Unsolicited ten-page samples will be accepted between January 5 and January 19, 2019. Due to overwhelming interest, the new play development team will cap unsolicited submissions at the first 100 received.

Five thousand dollars are at stake in the largest audience-judged theater competition in the country, PianoFight's ShortLived VII. Forty-eight plays from Bay Area writers, theater companies, sketch groups, and indy artists vie for the audience's affection over the nine week competition to crown the Bay Area's best and win $5,000. The regular season of ShortLived VII runs June 14 through August 4, with performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm on PianoFight's Main Stage.
