As artists, industry and fans celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop around the globe, The Hip Hop Nutcracker has announced its 2023 tour to more than 25 U.S. cities including Detroit’s Fisher Theatre for ONE SHOW ONLY on Saturday, December 9.

Chicago is well-respected as one of the premier theater cities in the country. Famous shows to get their start in the Windy City include Organic Theatre's Bleacher Bums, Steppenwolf's August: Osage County, Lookingglass Theatre Company's Metamorphoses, and one of the most successful musicals of all time: Grease! that got its start at the Kingston Mine nightclub.

Beginning on Thursday, February 16, theatergoers will be able to visit Wheel and Come Again: The 50th Anniversary Art Exhibition of The Harder They Come on The Public Theater’s Levin Mezzanine, an exhibition of art inspired by the original film.

Ennio: The Living Paper Cartoon enters its final week, wrapping up its run at San Francisco’s Club Fugazi next Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Ingrid Andress is the latest artist to join Apple Music in-studio to record a brand new, exclusive, spatial audio EP as part of the Apple Music Sessions series.
