Walter, of course, wrote and produced 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' with Mariah Carey and, now, here was a song written by the same guy, this time with Jay Landers.

According to an ASCAP analysis of streaming and terrestrial radio data, the hit classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” written by ASCAP songwriter Walter Afanasieff and pop star Mariah Carey, holds the #1 song position for the second year in a row.

Tomorrow, Nov. 2, the legendary Barbra Streisand will release 'Walls,' her first album primarily consisting of original songs since 2005. But, today, BroadwayWorld has an exclusive FIRST LISTEN to one of the songs on the album, 'The Rain Will Fall.'

Tony Award-winning actress, singer and performer Idina Menzel's music video for her studio version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is out now. Watch/share the video HERE. The song comes from her upcoming album idina: live which is slated for release October 12. Along with "Bridge Over Troubled Water," Menzel recently released her live versions of Rent's "Seasons of Love," and "Don't Rain on My Parade" which premiered at Playbill and TheaterMania respectively.

The two-disc album was recorded live on the final nights of her 2017 World Tour. Home for the Holidays, Broadway's only Holiday show, stars Candice Glover, winner 'American Idol' Season 12; Josh Kaufman, winner of 'The Voice' Season 6; and Bianca Ryan, winner: 'America's Got Talent' Season 1. This strictly limited Broadway engagement opens tonight, November 21st, at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue) and continues through Saturday, December 30th only.

Kathleen K. Johnson has announced that Home for the Holidays, Broadway's only Holiday show, will star Candice Glover, winner 'American Idol' Season 12; Josh Kaufman, winner of 'The Voice' Season 6; and Bianca Ryan, winner: 'America's Got Talent' Season 1.
