Shapiro Sisters' LIVE OUT LOUD Live 54 Below Album Gets 9/9 Release

The Shapiro Sisters announced today that their debut album Live Out Loud: Live at 54 BELOW will be released on September 9th, 2014. The Shapiro Sisters, 11-year old Milly Shapiro (Matilda, Original Broadway Cast of Matilda The Musical) and older sister, 14-year-old Abigail Shapiro (Cindy Lou Who, How The Grinch Stole Christmas), recorded the album live at the famed 54 BELOW over a series of three performances this past May and June. New York Tax Credit Proposed to Entice Producers to Bring Touring Productions Upstate

On Wednesday, a group of producers and presenters of Touring Broadway; members and representatives of The Broadway League; and elected officials announced a proposed Empire State Live Production Tax Credit to 'Keep Broadway in New York State.' Roy Blount, Janet Davies & Steve Downes to Appear at OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES at the Royal George Theatre

Author, humorist and panelist on National Public Radio's Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me program Roy Blount, Jr., plus Chicago media personalities Janet Davies (ABC7) and Steve Downes (WDRV-FM, The Drive) are the latest not-so-old, not-necessarily-Jewish joke tellers making one-night-only appearances in the hit comedy, OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted Street, to raise funds for the charities of their choice. A popular addition to the hit comedy production since launching in mid-December, celebrities are making a cameo appearance with their own comedic shtick during the OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES show, with a portion of proceeds from that performance donated to the non-profit charity of the celebrity's choice.
