Yesterday, December 20, in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute presented A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS in a special holiday Family Concert with  The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke. This staged concert version of the iconic television special brought the whole Peanuts gang to life through original choreography by director/choreographer Liza Gennaro, as performed by dancers from New York Theatre Ballet. Returning to The New York Pops Family Concert this season, Broadway actor John Bolton (Spamalot, Contact, Titanic) narrated the classic Christmas tale, with additional characters voiced by students from TADA! Youth Theater. Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA will join The New York Pops to perform Vince Guaraldi's memorable score.

Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke announced to a sold out open working rehearsal audience that there were only 4 tickets left for tonights New York Pops It's Christmas Time In The City Concert. Stephanie J. Block, Brian d'Arcy James, and Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA are featured along with The New York Pops Orchestra. Over 5,000 New Yorkers will be able to attend the concerts on December 18th & 19th at Carnegie Hall.

On Saturday, November 21, Washington, DC Metro Area audiences will once again get to experience The Tenors' remarkable voices, artistry, and harmonies - this time at the Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda. The group members graciously took time out of their very busy schedules to answer a few questions over email about their music, what inspires them, and what fans might expect from Saturday's concert.
