Verlaine and McCann will bring their mischievous re-imagination of Lewis Carroll's classic tale of nonsense and fantasy Through The Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland back to the stage this coming May 17-21 in Seattle.

Beginning February 11 through September 3, 2023, NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale will present Picturing Fame, comprised of four concurrent exhibitions which ruminate on the subject of fame and celebrity.

Verlaine and McCann will bring their mischievous re-imagination of Lewis Carroll's classic tale of nonsense and fantasy Through The Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland back to the stage for the first time since 2019. Performances run September 21-25, 2022 at the illustrious Triple Door.

For many Seattleites, the long-awaited return of Verlaine & McCann's Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker can't arrive soon enough! This season, the acclaimed producers are excited to share that audiences can look forward to performances from some of their favorite acts from the past, with a collection of new and exciting performers rounding out a cast chock-full of professional ballet dancers who flawlessly incorporate burlesque into their classical technique.

Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann return to the Triple Door for their 11th season with their adaptation of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland", "Through the Looking Glass, The Burlesque Alice in Wonderland". And while "Wonderland" might seem a perfect setting for a Burlesque show, since the whole thing can be looked at as a giant drug trip, any adaptation should use more than just the characters and name as a backdrop. Unfortunately, that's not the case here as the evening is simply a series of numbers, strung together with the loosest of Wonderland threads holding it together, and so much thrown at the audience in order to obscure the downfalls of the show that it really only serves to spotlight the downfalls.

Favorite characters like the light-juggling magic of Babette La Fave, Lily Verlaine's Sugar Plum Fairy, Tory Peil's 'toreadora' Hot Chocolate, and the ever-lovable Snowflakes are back at The Triple Door for the wildly popular holiday spectacular Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker. This year's production features a live onstage nine-piece jazz orchestra, professional dance talent, opulent bespoke costuming by Stephanie Seymour (formerly of Teatro Zinzanni) and original choreography from the classically-trained burlesque superstar Lily Verlaine. This Land of the Sweets is set to snowstorm into the illustrious Triple Door December 7-30 for 34 performances.
