On Monday night, January 20, 2014 BroadwayWorld.com kicked off our 10th anniversary celebration with a benefit for BC/EFA entitled BroadwayWorld.com Visits Oz. In celebration of Michael Urie's birthday, we bring you a special clip of his performance. A longtime friend to BroadwayWorld.com, during his sold-out run of BUYER & CELLAR, he made time to come to JOE'S PUB to be part of our 10th Anniversary. At the event, he performed a special piece, written by BUYER & CELLAR Playwright's Jonathan Tolins, entitled MY PASSION FOR OZ.

IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU has seen the most on-stage proposals and even weddings of any show this season. Given its subject matter, it makes sense. Where better to get engaged than a musical about marriage? Below, take a look back at some of those sweet moments in this highlights reel!

On August 7, Pink Martini performed with New York Pops at its inaugural summer series at its new home, Forest Hills Stadium. The genre-defying Portland, Oregon-based band features lead singers China Forbes and Storm Large, alongside bandleader Thomas Lauderdale and several other instrumentalists.

It Shoulda Been You plays its final performance on Broadway, today Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th Street). In honor of the show's journey, BroadwayWorld takes you a look back at its run on the Great White Way!

Well-Strung, the pop/classical fusion group, released their second music video today titled "Blank Space (Feat. Johann Sebastian Bach)" in advance of their new album POPssical due this October. The video can be viewed on their YouTube channel and the single can be downloaded on iTunes.

Broadway welcomes back a favorite leading lady in a rockin' new role!

Paris Je t'dore! And Vive La France! French-flavored Broadway shows and songs are tres magnifique. The romantic 'City of Lights' and the lure of romance with a French accent has served as the inspiration for many musicals through the years. And since France and all of the world's Francophiles celebrated Bastille Day earlier this week, BroadwayWorld's Jeff Walker and Matt Tamanini are taking a look at the shows and tunes that make us go 'oo-la-la!'

RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL just opened Off-Broadway last night, July 13th at St. Luke's Theatre. The Original Broadway cast album for It Shoulda Been You was recorded by Ghostlight Records and will be available for purchase digitally on Friday, August 14, 2015 and physically on Friday, September 18, 2015. Licensing for future productions of the hilarious, crowd-pleasing musical will be available through Music Theatre International (MTI). The Wednesday, July 15, 2015 matinee performance of It Shoulda Been You will be filmed for the Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts and preserved for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive. The 17th annual Broadway Barks fundraiser - the star-studded dog and cat adoption event to benefit New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore - was held July 11 in Shubert Alley.
