Earlier this week, the company of the 2014 revival of SIDE SHOW reunited at the The LGBT Community Center for a special CD release event. The cast, including Erin Davie, Emily Padgett, Matthew Hydzik, Javier Ignacio, Isaiah Johnson and Brandon Andrus, performed numbers from the show and then participated in a Q&A Panel. Ghostlight Records just celebrated the physical CD release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording for It Shoulda Been You with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble last night. The show's director David Hyde Pierce hosted, joined by cast members Sierra Boggess, Lisa Howard, Montego Glover, Chip Zien, Adam Heller, Michael X. Martin, Anne L. Nathan, Nick Spangler and Edward Hibbert.

On October 9, The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, opened its 33rd season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with My Favorite Things: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The concert honored the duo's timeless work, which has captured the hearts of every generation of music lovers, and featured guest artists Sierra Boggess and Julian Ovenden (who replaced the previously announced Steven Pasquale), alongside Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. Well-Strung Adds Another Feather to Their Cap: President Barack Obama

Well-Strung has been on quite the roller coaster ride this year. They sold out their summer run at the Art House in Provincetown, with their show Summer Lovin' and got to perform at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton when their song 'Chelsea's Mom' went viral. Both the opening, and the event were simultaneously (not planned) scheduled.
