FOX Orders New Stop-Motion Holiday Special from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios

FOX Entertainment has ordered a stop-motion holiday special from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the Emmy Award-winning company founded by Seth Green, John Harvatine IV, Matthew Senreich and Eric Towner. The all-new, irreverent special, written by Emmy Award winner Tom Root ('Robot Chicken'), will premiere next winter on FOX, as part of its 'Not So Silent Nights' holiday-themed programming.

Hulu Orders Animated Comedy Starring Nicholas Hoult

Hulu has greenlit a 10-episode order of Crossing Swords, a new animated comedy series from the Emmy Award winning Robot Chicken executive producers John Harvatine IV and Tom Root. The series from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios is set to premiere as part of the Hulu Originals slate in 2020.

The Television Academy tonight presented the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday night honoring outstanding artistic and technical achievement in television at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Saturday ceremony, which kicked-off the 70th Emmys, awarded many talented artists and craftspeople in the categories of animation, scripted programming including comedy, drama and limited series. The Sunday ceremony honored performers, artists and craftspeople for excellence in variety, nonfiction or reality programming, reality competition programming, music, choreography, as well as documentary or nonfiction specials, informational series or specials.

Sony Crackle, the free streaming network, today announced that 'SuperMansion,' the Emmy-nominated, stop-motion adult animated comedy series, will debut new episodes of season three on Thursday, October 4, with an early exclusive starting Monday, September 24 on PlayStation(R)3 and PlayStation(R)4 through the Sony Crackle app. Oscar(R) and Emmy(R)-nominated actress Minnie Driver, will join the cast in a recurring role as Debbie Devizo, Dr. Devizo's (Chris Pine) ex-wife and former League of Freedom team member. Sony Crackle also released the official trailer and key art, which provides a first look at Minnie Driver's character in action.
