The 17th Annual Helpmann Awards will be announced at a ceremony on starting at 7pm EST Monday 24th July at the Capitol Theatre Sydney.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announced today that individual tickets for the Las Vegas premiere of the National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME will go on sale July 14 at 7:00AM. The National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME is the Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel. Directed by Tony winner Marianne Elliott (War Horse and Curious Incident), the critically acclaimed production will come to Seattle for a one-week engagement from July 25-30 as part of a North American Tour.

The Helpmann Awards are the premier celebration of Australia's vibrant live performance industry and recognise distinguished achievement and excellence in Australia's live performance sectors including musical theatre, contemporary music, comedy, opera, classical music, theatre, ballet, dance and physical theatre, presentation for children, regional touring and cabaret.

John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation, directed by Trip Cullman and starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney, Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey and Tony Award nominee Corey Hawkins, will close on Sunday, June 18, 2017. It will have played 21 previews and 63 regular performances. The production began previews Wednesday, April 5 and opened Tuesday, April 25 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).

Casting is set for the Los Angeles engagement of the National Theatre production of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" presented at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre. The Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens is adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel and directed by Tony winner Marianne Elliott ("War Horse"). "Curious Incident…" previews August 2, opens August 3 and continues through September 10, 2017.

BUILDING THE WALL, the new play by Pulitzer and Tony winner Robert Schenkkan (All The Way, Hacksaw Ridge - Academy Award nom. The Kentucky Cycle), currently making its New York premiere at New World Stages has announced an early closing.

Building the Wall, which begins performances tomorrow, May 12, at New World Stages, will be offering $27 student rush tickets during the show's preview period. The 15th anniversary production of Theresa Rebeck's irresistible comedy Bad Dates will complete the Huntington Theatre Company's 2017-2018 season. Bad Dates will be directed by Huntington favorite Jessica Stone (This season's Ripcord and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Huntington), and the play joins the previously announced seven titles in the 2017-2018 season.
