Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 7, 2016 for The National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, the Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel.
Audiences have Six Weeks Left to See the Critically Acclaimed 1984

Audiences have just six weeks left to see the critically acclaimed Headlong, Nottingham Playhouse and Almeida Theatre production of 1984. Since opening at the Nottingham Playhouse in 2013, the production has played almost 700 performances across the globe and, by the end of this run, over 380,000 people will have seen the show. Directed by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan with Daniel Raggett, the limited run at the Playhouse Theatre must end on 29 October 2016.

The National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME is the Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel. Directed by Tony winner Marianne Elliott, the critically acclaimed production will come to Dr. Phillips Center as part of a North American Tour. The Orlando engagement will play the Walt Disney Theater November 1 - 6, 2016.

The critically acclaimed hit off-Broadway play The Effect, which extended earlier this year, is currently in its final weeks at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street) and will play its final performance on Sunday, September 4th, 2016 after 20 previews and 192 regular performances.

Producer Scott Rudin announced today that, on the heels of winning four Tony Awards including Best Play, The Humans will move into Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) to extend its limited run. The Humans will play its first performance in its new home on Tuesday, August 9. It will play its final performance at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Sunday, July 24, and then take a two-week hiatus to allow for the move. As previously announced, the Hayes is set to undergo significant renovations beginning in August.

St. Louis' own Fox Theatricals received a 2016 Tony® Award as a producer of THE HUMANS, a new Broadway play by Stephan Karam. THE HUMANS received a total of four 2016 Tony nominations: Best Play, Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play (Reed Birney), Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play (Jayne Houdyshell) and Best Scenic Design of a Play (David Zinn). The show received additional nominations for Best Lighting Design of a Play (Justin Townsend) and Best Direction of a Play (Joe Mantello).

Last night, the Sheridan Smith-starring revival of FUNNY GIRL opened at the Savoy Theatre in the West End. The transfer follows a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, and the show is booking until October 8. Smith takes on Barbra Streisand's iconic role of Fanny Brice, the Brooklyn singer and comedienne who became a Broadway sensation under producer Florenz Ziegfeld.
