They're creepy and they're kooky, and they're coming to a neighborhood near you! With the success of their past productions (American Idiot, Spring Awakening, Spelling Bee, Hairspray, 39 Steps, Big Fish, and more), emerging performing group Surging Films & Theatrics is excited to once again partner with Chicago's Prop Thtr for the hilarious and darkly sweet family musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa, ?Based on Characters by Charles Addams).

THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams (Gabi Knoepfle), the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with Lucas (Jake Lange) a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams (Tony Calkins) must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia (Niki-Charisse Franco). Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents.

The Addams Family is sure to be a new family favorite, with Direction by Billy Surges & Seth Harman-Sharp, Music Direction by Katie Meyers and Daven Taba; Choreography by Billy Surges and Jeff Davis; and Tech Crew Michael Consalvo and Audrey Eck. Additional cast also includes Michael Calkins (PUGSLEY), Jack Wright (UNCLE FESTER), Danielle Wheeler (GRANDMA), Billy Surges (LURCH), Tyler Brodeur (MAL BEINEKE), ?Katie Meyers (ALICE BEINEKE), and Seth Harman, Jennifer Lenius, Fiona Renteria, Amanda Zgonina, and Sara Zgonina (ANCESTORS).
