Max Richter's 8-hour Masterpiece SLEEP Comes to NYC May 4 & 5

After a successful North American debut of the live performance of his 8-hour masterpiece SLEEP, Max Richter brings the “intoxicating” (NPR) performance to New York City for the first time, for two nights of performances on May 4 & 5 at Spring Studios (50 Varick Street, New York, NY 10013). Doors will open at 9:00pm, the concert will begin at 10:30pm. Tickets will be announced on the artist's socials.

A joint project of Plan B to Save Wolves and Apex Protection Project, Sedona Wolf Week's mission is to change the way people view wolves and to affect how the government develops policies regarding wolves while creating respect and protections for this essential apex predator. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) announced today that Don-Scott Cooper will depart the Bay Area's premier nonprofit theater organization after serving seven seasons as general manager. Cooper will begin his tenure as executive director of Le Petit Theatre in New Orleans, Louisiana beginning Monday, December 4.

The Guthrie Theater announced that Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein has been elected as president of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT), the largest professional theater association of its kind in the United States, boasting 72 member Theatres in 29 states and the District of Columbia. Bielstein succeeds Timothy J. Shields, the managing director of McCarter Theatre Center, and began her three-year term in May 2017.
