The evening will feature a cocktail hour, dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment from the TADA!'s Resident Youth Ensemble and Broadway stars, and many more great surprises.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the original airing of Alex Haley's ROOTS in which she so memorably portrayed Kizzy Kinte, Uggams traces her career as a child star during the early days of television to her current roles in the blockbuster hits DEADPOOL and EMPIRE.

THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD Tops Weekend Box Office

Collider reports that THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD has held on to its spot at the top of the box office for a second straight week. The comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson earned a little over $10 million to clinch the number one slot. Overall, the movie has grossed almost $40 million.
