Knot Free Productions presents In Trousers, a 'prequel' to William Finn's groundbreaking March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland, directed by Ryan O'Connor.

Donelle Dadigan, Founder and President of The Hollywood Museum in partnership with Los Angeles City Councilman Mitch O'Farrell (CD13), proudly unveiled the 2019 salute to the LGBT community's contributions to the entertainment industry last night to launched Los Angeles' Gay Pride weekend festivities.

Lily Tomlin, upon accepting her award, remarked 'My partner Jane and I are honored and want to thank you for this award. It is amazing to see this whole outpouring for the LGBT community. Jane, couldnt be here tonight, but asked that I share her remarks 'We love the thought of being called Trail-Blazers. It makes us feel current and something out of Marvel Comics.'  Neither of us has a good sense of direction, so we thought being called trail-blazers implies that we somehow new where we were going. So thank you for thinking of us as trail-blazers, rather than as museum pieces.  Of course, there were times, Im afraid, we got lost on that trail and were more bewildered than blazing.  We are still blazing, but we have had to cool down a bit. After all, we need to take care not to add to global warming.'

Celebration Theatre has announced a limited return engagement of Ryan O'Connor's Vote, Pray, Love, O'Connor's first cabaret show since his highly lauded autobiographical debut Ryan O'Connor Eats His Feelings in 2009. With musical direction by Emily Rosenfield and Andy Arena and directed by Tony Award-winner Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray), Vote, Pray, Love, will play four performances only on April 8, 9, 15, and 16.

Kate Pazakis and her talented creative team once again incorporate their 'secret sauce' in concocting a most delicious holiday treat for Rockwell revelers - THE UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL PARODY OF HOME ALONE. The 1990 John Hughes classic Home Alone receives Pazakis' UMPO treatment, resulting in a most side-splitting production with their clever choice of pop songs, re-worded to 'fit' the Home Alone narrative, and boosted by the always witty (and subtly topical) dialogue of Ray Wetmore and Pazakis.

Vote, Pray, Love marks Ryan O'Connor's return to Rockwell Table & Stage with his first cabaret show since his highly lauded autobiographical debut Ryan O'Connor Eats His Feelings in 2009. A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returned to the historic Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on Monday, August 21st with its fifteenth concert featuring emerging musical theatre artists. Co-hosts, Tony Award winner Marisa Jaret Winokur (HAIRSPRAY) and Ryan O'Connor ('BIG LITTLE LIES,' 'LADYWATCH' podcast), delighted the audience with context and humor between numbers. Gregory Nabours and the dynamic ALNM band (Eric McCann, Emily Rosenfield, and Greg Sadler) provided excellent backup to the singers performing the next generation of musical theatre songs. 

On Monday, August 21 at 8:30pm, A Little New Music will present its 15th concert collaboration with an eclectic array of artists performing original musical theatre songs at the historic Catalina Jazz Club. Those who attend A Little New Music will be some of the first to discover new pieces of musical theatre that could potentially become Broadway hits. In his STREEP TEASE, Roy Cruz has created an entertaining, all-male revue of Meryl Streep interpretators using actual (or actual-esque) dialogue from Ms. Streep's many films. With minimal use of props and just a hint of costume enhancements, this talented nine-membered Streepers perform some side-splitting scenes with a few serious ones thrown into the mix. Some Meryl Streep roles just seem more than ripe for parody, er, homage.
