The book by Marcy Heisler, loosely based upon the tales of Rudyard Kipling, is a heartwarming celebration of survival and friendship.

Partially funded by the Hillsboro Arts and Culture Council, L.E.S.T.A. - Learn English/Spanish Through the Arts, will present two free bilingual musical plays by and for kids at the Hart Theatre. As the culmination of Camp 1, on Friday, AUG. 14, students will present 'El Tesoro ... the Treasure of Sierra's Padre'. And from Camp 2, on Friday August 21, students will present 'Los Cangrejos ... the Crabs That Played With the Seas'. Both shows are at 3:00 p.m. at the Hart Theatre, 185 NE Washington, corner of 2nd street, Hillsboro.
'HARRY POTTER' Star Daniel Radcliffe Makes Major Donation To Support The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project, the non-profit organization that operates the only nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, today announced that it has received a major donation from Daniel Radcliffe, the critically-acclaimed star of the 'Harry Potter' film series and Broadway's 'Equus.' The 20-year-old actor joined The Trevor Project's Circle of Hope, a community of major donors which plays an essential role in providing the financial leadership that makes the organization's lifesaving work possible.
