Beyond Expectations
Joy Reyneke & Blake Fitch
July 9 - September 5, 2009

The photographic works of Joy Reyneke and Blake Fitch cross paths at the intersection of human experience.   Ms. Reyneke's images of life in Nicaragua soon after hurricane Felix and Ms. Fitch's visual documentation of a northeastern American girl's adolescence may seem worlds apart in subject matter, but resonate in terms of substance. Their work provides evidence that a broad spectrum of emotion can be experienced in a variety of circumstances.
