The Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theater, New Jersey's newest professional ballet company, is breaking ground and crossing cultural boundaries with the world premiere of "The Jungle Book," an exciting meld of American as well as Indian classical and folk dance.

The World Premiere of Netflix's Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, will be held in Mumbai on November 25th, 2018 with director and star Andy Serkis joined by Christian Bale, Freida Pinto, Louis Ashbourne Serkis and newcomer Rohan Chand who plays Mowgli in the film.

For some years, Drose & Norberg has set up a family musical based on a famous story like The Wizard of Oz, Snow White the Musical and the Aladdin Adventure- The story they chosen this year is the Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. It's not a Disney version of the Jungle Book but a new musical with newly written music by Marin Landh and Peter Nygren. The well-known characters such as Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan and the snake Kaa is still in the story.

Acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis reinvents Rudyard Kipling's beloved masterpiece, in which a boy torn between two worlds accepts his destiny and becomes a legend. Mowgli (Rohan Chand) has never truly belonged in either the wilds of the jungle or the civilized world of man. Now he must navigate the inherent dangers of each on a journey to discover where he truly belongs.

Adapted from Disney's beloved animated film and the works of Rudyard Kipling, the "man cub" Mowgli, bounds through the jungle and learns what it means to be human.  The jungle is jumpin' with a jazzy beat in Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS. Specially adapted from the classic Disney animated film, Disney's The Jungle Book KIDS features a host of colorful characters and your favorite songs from the movie.  Banished by the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan, a human boy named Mowgli and his panther friend, Bagheera, are on the run in the deepest parts of the jungle. On their journey, the two meet a sinister snake named Kaa, a herd of elephants and a giant bear named Baloo, who teaches them the swingin' musical rhythms of the jungle. After surviving a dangerous encounter with a band of monkeys led by King Louie, Mowgli and Bagheera are forced to run for their lives. When Shere Khan returns, our heroes must rally their fellow animals into battle and restore peace throughout the jungle.

Verb Ballets has commissioned two new ballet by Cleveland choreographers Kay Eichman and Richard Dickinson. The public is invited on October 26, 2018 for Live @ Noon an exclusive working rehearsal with the choreographers. This unique opportunity will provide insight into the work of creating a new ballet and the choreographers process. Pack a lunch to enjoy during the rehearsal followed by dessert to be provided.

This season's eagerly awaited only New York appearance of An die Musik (oboe, string trio, and piano), co-founded in 1976 by pianist Constance Emmerich, will take place on Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2018, 4 pm at Merkin Concert Hall, Kaufman Music Center, 129 West 67th Street, New York, NY. It is hard to overestimate the sense of camaraderie and genuine love of music generated by An die Musik in more than four decades of sold-out concerts.

Bring your children to the jungle this fall to watch Mowgli the man-cub come face-to-face with sneaky monkeys, noisy vultures and more when Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park brings THE JUNGLE BOOK to community centers throughout the region as part of its Off the Hill series. The show runs Sept. 29 to Nov. 2.

Rudyard Kipling's timeless tale of a boy lost in the jungle and taken in by wolves has opened at Greenwich Theatre in a stage adaptation by Tracey Power.

The Lyric Hammersmith presents the 2018 Autumn season of Little Lyric especially for audiences aged between 2-11 years. The season includes the return of some Little Lyric favourites, as well as some new companies who will all be sure to delight young audiences with adventures, magic and enchanting stories. Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, presents a new family-friendly production of Jungle Book.  Adapted from the works of Rudyard Kipling, this version is written and directed by Craig Francis and Rick Miller and is performed Today, July 17 through Sunday, July 29 (press opening July 18).
