Acclaimed Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will hold its annual Spring Gala on Monday evening, May 7 at 583 Park Avenue. The evening will honor Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Playwrights Musical Theater Fellowship alumnus Robert Lopez, the Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning songwriters of Frozen and Coco.

All plays were once new plays. That's the idea behind Syracuse Stage's Cold Read: A Festival of Hot New Plays, which starts Thursday evening and has events scheduled each day through Sunday afternoon.

Rob Cardazone's new play, One More Time with Malice, opened last week to enthusiastic audiences at The Robert Moss Theatre in NoHo. The play runs through March 17 and is directed by Eric Nightengale.

Pigeonholed, a nonprofit New York City-based theater company, announces the Spring 2018 Children's Class Schedule, with classes in improvisation and story building, and scene study and acting technique.  Classes will be held at Chaos Studios at 247 Water Street, Suite 202 in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
