Resorts World Manila (RWM), a one-stop entertainment and tourism destination, brings to the stage its third Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II's production, “Cinderella,” which opens at Newport Performing Arts Theatre on Wednesday, October 9. According to RWM, “Cinderella” is bound to enchant Filipino audiences anew with its beautifully crafted sets and “Marie Antoinette-ish” costumes.

The King and I, one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's most treasured musicals, is the next show in the 2013 Music Circus season, at the Wells Fargo Pavilion from August 6 - 11. With book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers, the show features the classic songs 'Shall We Dance?,' 'Getting to Know You' and 'Something Wonderful.' International film star Orlando Bloom will make his Broadway debut alongside Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, as Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers in a new Broadway production of the timeless love story ROMEO AND JULIET, directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux. The show will open on Broadway on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, following preview performances from Saturday, August 24, 2013. In Verona, there is a house that claims to have belonged to the Capulet family, boasting the balcony and courtyard made so famous by Shakespeare. Upon entering the house, there is a wall that is now lovingly known as 'Juliet's Wall'. Thousands of people every year write their names and the names of their loved ones on the face of wall, believing it will make their love and relationships eternal and everlasting, like the love of Romeo and Juliet. The Richard Rodgers Theatre will boast its own 'Juliet's Wall', located on the front of the theatre, and Bloom and Rashad were the first to sign it. JAMES SNYDER (Broadway's Cry-Baby, Goodspeed's Carousel) has joined the company of If/Then, the new musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director). Mr. Snyder joins the previously announced Idina Menzel, LaChanze, and Anthony Rapp.

Andrew Kober made his Broadway debut in the 2009 Tony Award winning revival of Hair after originating the roles of Father and Margaret Mead in the Shakespeare in the Park production. He also played the roles in the West End revival in 2010. He has also appeared on television in 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Pan Am' and 'House of Cards.'

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Andrew Levine, Executive Director) will host aspecial gala event featuring several numbers from the Richard Rodgers Award-winning new musical in development, Buddy's Tavern, with book by Raymond DeFelitta, lyrics by Alison Louise Hubbard, and music by Kim Oler. The institutional fundraising event is set for TONIGHT, August 5 at the Alexandre Gertsman Contemporary Art Gallery (652 Broadway, 2nd Floor, between Bleecker and Bond Streets). Portion of the proceeds collected by the Gertsman Gallery will be donated to The York Theatre Company.

Eight winners were selected from over 100 submissions received from college students around the country. Winners were selected by a four-person judging panel comprised of Casting Directors Michael Cassara and Jason Najjoum, Concert Director Marlo Hunter, and Concert Producer Alina Gutierrez. Carner and Gregor were not involved in the judging process. After four sold-out editions, Carner & Gregor's BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA is back for its fifth year. Anthony Rapp has just been announced as joining the cast of If/Then, the new musical by the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creative team behind Next To Normal, Tom Kitt (music), Brian Yorkey (book and lyrics), and Michael Greif (director). Mr. Rapp joins the previously announced Tony Award-Winners Idina Menzel and LaChanze in the world premiere musical. If/Then will play Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street) in spring 2014, beginning preview performances on Tuesday, March 4, and officially opening on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
