Amphibian Stage Productions and Diana Sheehan today announced a party celebrating the release of Ms. Sheehan's first CD,Nobody's Hart: Diana Sheehan Sings the Lyrics of Lorenz Hart, which will take place on Saturday, August 24 at Rebecca Low Sculptural Metal Gallery and Studio in Fort Worth. The party will feature a live performance of selections from the CD by Ms. Sheehan, accompanied by James McQuillen on piano and Sarah Choi on cello.

The album, Nobody's Hart, features selections from Diana Sheehan's live cabaret of the same name, which pays tribute to the Broadway lyricist Lorenz Hart with music by Richard Rodgers. Songs include "Manhattan," "Where or When?," and "With a Song in My Heart."

Ms. Sheehan debuted the cabaret at Sammons Center for the Arts in Dallas in the fall of 2012 and subsequently performed the show to sold-out houses at the 2013 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival, where it was a "Best of the Loop" winner. The cabaret makes its Fort Worth debut at Amphibian Stage Productions September 12-15, 2013.

In Nobody's Hart, Diana Sheehan pairs her unparalleled vocal talent with the lyrics of Lorenz Hart in this cabaret tribute to the legendary lyricist. As half of the songwriting duo, Rodgers and Hart, Lorenz Hart penned the lyrics to some of Broadway's most memorable musicals, including Babes in Arms, The Boys from Syracuse, and Pal Joey. Over the course of this intimate musical evening, Diana Sheehan takes audiences on a journey through the popular work of Hart, as well as his troubled private life, shining a light on one of the great innovators of the American musical.

"A revelation, a perfect mix of famous tunes and the utterly obscure delivered with such wit and sophistication you wish she could have gone on all night." - Lawson Taitte, The Dallas Morning News
