Roundabout Theatre Company's new Broadway production of Time and the Conways by J. B. Priestley, directed by Tony nominee Rebecca Taichman (Indecent), and starring Oscar, Emmy & Golden Globe nominee Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey) is about to return to Broadway for the first time since its premiere in 1938.
INDECENT Ends Broadway Run with Stunning Final Week Gross of $739,171

INDECENT, a play by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel, created by Ms. Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Ms. Taichman, finished its extended run at Broadway's Cort Theatre yesterday with its highest weekly gross of $739,171. INDECENT began previews April 4 and opened April 18. The production played 128 performances and 15 previews.

Now revived at the Williamstown Theatre Festival under the direction of Tony winner Rebecca Taichman, THE CLEAN HOUSE earned playwright Sarah Ruhl her first recognition as a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2005. Ruhl's lyrical comedy has been produced at some of the nation's top regional theatres leading THE CLEAN HOUSE to tie as the second most produced play in the 2007-2008 American theatre season.

Acting Company and Creative Advisors Join Sundance Institute's 2017 Theatre Lab at Sundance Resort

Sundance Institute's Theatre Lab kicks off today with the announcement of this year's participating acting company and creative advisors. The Lab, which runs through July 30 at the Sundance Resort in Utah, is supervised by Artistic Director Philip Himberg and Producing Director Christopher Hibma, and is the centerpiece of the Institute's year-round work with the theatre community. It's one of 24 residency Labs the Institute hosts each year for independent artists in theatre, film, new media and episodic content.

Winner of two 2017 Tony Awards, Indecent will play its final performance on Broadway on today, August 6 at 3:00 PM at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.) The production, the miracle on 48th Street, originally scheduled to close on June 25, was instead extended for six more weeks, as a result of increased ticket sales and passionate audience response.
