New Ohio Theatre annual Obie Award-winning Ice Factory Festival officially opens tonight. The festival will feature seven new works over seven weeks, June 26 - August 10, at New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher St.) in New York City

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a catered reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $50 at the door. The Sol Project, the national theater initiative dedicated to amplifying Latinx voices and building a body of work for the new American theater, is proud to announce dates for the second annual SolFest: A Latinx Theater Festival, produced in partnership with Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater (Pregones/PRTT). The Tank announces the talented playwrights selected for LIT Council, an 8-month development intensive for male playwrights of color. During their time with the Council (October 2018 through April 2019), writers will be in an affinity space with one another, developing a project and having in-depth conversations around their identity as men of color working in the theatre field as playwrights.

WP THEATER announces the 15 artists selected for the 2018-2020 WP Lab. The two-year residency begins in late August and culminates with the biennial WP Pipeline Festival.

The Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) proudly presents the 2018 LTC Carnaval of New Latinx Work (Carnaval 2018: ConeXion!) featuring readings of six new Latinx plays paired with Latinx directors, actors, designers and dramaturgs at The Theatre School at DePaul University, 2350 N. Racine, Chicago, 19-21 July 2018. Carnaval 2018: ConeXion! is dynamic event celebrating the abundance of Latinx talent in the U.S. theatre field. Additionally, Carnaval participants are able to experience Chicago's rich Latinx theatre community through events created by local Latinx theatre companies Urban Theater Company, Aguijon Theater, Teatro Vista, and the Chicago Latino Theater Alliance.

Hosted by actor Jaleel White, the event challenged 12 regional winners in the Meal Through the Arts competition to prepare their recipes for a live audience and a panel of celebrity chefs (to include Chef Ito Fuyuhiko, Chef Jamika Pessoa and Certified Master Chef Daryl Shular). These students competed in four categories: canapé, salad, entrée and dessert.
