Tickets for each of the seven remaining shows in Pioneer Theatre Company's 2010-2011 Season will go on sale Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. The season includes a hit adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, which runs from October 22 through November 6, 2010; Irving Berlin's White Christmas, based on the 1954 film of the same title, which runs from December 3 through December 24, 2010; the hilarious one act Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer running from January 14 through January 29, 2011; the world premiere of a new drama In by Bess Wohl, the author of last season's Touch(ed), which runs from February 18 through March 5, 2011; The Diary of Anne Frank, a co-production with Indiana Repertory Theatre, which runs from March 18 through April 2, 2011; Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning Sunset Boulevard, which runs from April 29 through May 14, 2011; and the regional premiere of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning landmark pop-rock opera Rent by Jonathan Larson, which runs from June 10 through June 25, 2011.

Old Globe to Feature MUCH ADO, AMADEUS et al. in '11 Summer Season

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced The Old Globe's 2011 Summer Season. Adrian Noble will return as the Artistic Director of the Shakespeare Festival and direct Shakespeare's The Tempest and Peter Shaffer's Amadeus. Presented in repertory in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre, the Festival will also include Much Ado About Nothing directed by Ron Daniels. The season also features Hershey Felder in Maestro: The Art of Leonard Bernstein in the Old Globe Theatre. Preceding Bernstein is a 10-day limited engagement of Hershey Felder in George Gershwin Alone. The West Coast Premiere of John Morogiello's romantic comedy, Engaging Shaw, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre will complete the season.

HotCity Theatre, a professional theatre company with a focus on contemporary programming and new play development announces the opening of EQUUS, The 1975 Tony award winning psychological drama by Peter Shaffer. Webster University professor Doug Finlayson will direct this production, the third show in the 2010 HotCity Season.
