The two-time Tony Award winning hilarious hit comedy 39 Steps announced today that it will celebrate Alfred Hitchcock's 116th birthday on Thursday, August 13th by inviting the audience to join special post-show festivities, including a custom designed cake by Cake Alchemy . 39 Steps will also celebrate by launching a daily in-person lottery.

BroadwayWorld recently announced a new partnership with renowned caricature artist Ken Fallin, a life-long theater enthusiast, who has drawn many Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Monday Night Football is almost as exciting as Monday nights at 39 STEPS, especially when Dallas Cowboys superstar QB Tony Romo and his wife Candice, who are big theatre fans, decide to catch a performance! 39 Steps opened to rave reviews on April 13, 2015 at the Union Square Theatre (100 East 17th Street), featuring original Broadway cast member Arnie Burton reprising his role of Clown #2, Billy Carter as Clown #1, recent Juilliard grad Brittany Vicars as Pamela/Annabella/Margaret, and Broadway vet Robert Petkoff as the dashing hero Richard Hannay. The two-time Tony Award winning hilarious hit comedy 39 Steps has announced it will kick off the Independence Day holiday weekend by adding a specially-priced matinee performance on Friday, July 3 at 3PM with all tickets priced at $39. The evening performance on July 3 will remain at 8PM. 

Based on John Buchan's 1914 spy thriller The Thirty Nine Steps and adapted for the stage by Patrick Barlow (Desmond Oliver Dingle/The National Theatre of Brent), The 39 Steps is directed by Maria Aitken, with design by Peter McKintosh, lighting by Ian Scott, sound by Mic Pool, and movement by Toby Sedgwick. The 39 Steps is presented by Edward Snape for Fiery Angel and Tricycle London Productions with the West Yorkshire Playhouse. From an original concept by Simon Corble & Nobby Dimon.

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre has announced full casting for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, which begins rehearsals today, Monday 8 June. The production will run at the theatre from 16 July - 29 August with performance for press on 23 July.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels opened to critical acclaim in the West End last April. It's taken a while to cross the pond having opened on Broadway over a decade ago but now UK-wide audiences are at last able to enjoy this production, having opened at the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham last night. The entire team of staff need to be commended on creating a wonderful experience before you even stepped in to the theatre. With French-speaking staff to martinis, they went the extra mile which should be recognised.
