Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) launches its 28th season tonight, July 24 when HARRISON, TX: THREE PLAYS BY HORTON FOOTE begins performances.

Just last night, producer Jordan Roth and the cast of the 2012 Tony Award-winning, 2011 Pulitzer Prize and Olivier Award-winning play, Clybourne Park celebrated 100 performances on Broadway and the debut performance of Olivier Award nominee Sarah Goldberg in the role of "Besty / Lindsey." 2011 Olivier Award nominee Sarah Goldberg joins the cast of the 2012 Tony Award-winning "Best Play," Clybourne Park, in the roles of "Betsy" and "Lindsey' from tonight, July 17th.

Earlier today, producer Jordan Roth and cast members from Clybourne Park were on hand at Serendipity 3 to sample the scrumptious Clybourne Park Neapolitan Sundae which will be available at the popular midtown restaurant throughout the month of July. Packed with a combustible mix of ingredients, the delicious sundae boasts three provocatively large scoops of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream brilliantly drenched in white chocolate sauce and milk chocolate fudge. Tony Award nominees HAllie Foote (Dividing the Estate) and Jayne Houdyshell (Follies, Well) will head up an ensemble featuring Devon Abner (Dividing the Estate), Mary Bacon (Rock 'N' Roll on Broadway, Motherhood Out Loud at Primary Stages), Jeremy Bobb (Is He Dead on Broadway, Shipwrecked at Primary Stages), Alexander Cendense (A View From the Bridge), Andrea Lynn Green (Giant at Dallas Theatre Center), Evan Jonigkeit (History Boys at Arden Theatre Company), and Jenny Dare Paulin (Dividing the Estate). Helmed by Tony Award nominated director Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park, A Lifetime Burning at Primary Stages), Harrison,TX runs July 24 - September 15 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that it will extend the run of its critically acclaimed production of Amy Herzog's 4000 MILES, directed by Daniel Aukin, for a second time, through Sunday, July 1 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). The original run of the production was extended through Sunday, June 17 after 4000 MILES opened to critical acclaim in early April.

Leigh Silverman, Carolyn Cantor, Jean-Michele Gregory and Cape Cod Theatre Project's Artistic Director Hal Brooks will be developing new plays this summer with The Cape Cod Theatre Project.

Producer Jordan Roth announced today that 2011 Olivier Award nominee Sarah Goldberg will join the cast of the 2012 Tony Award-winning "Best Play," Clybourne Park, in the roles of "Betsy" and "Lindsey." Annie Parisse will play her final performance on Sunday, July 15th with Goldberg succeeding the role on Tuesday, July 17th.

The Tony Awards Nominating Committee is a rotating group of up to 35 theatre professionals selected by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. Nominators serve for overlapping three-year terms. They are asked to see every new Broadway production and then meet each year shortly after the Tony eligibility deadline. They determine the nominations based on secret ballots supervised by an accounting firm. The results are announced early the following morning.

The LCT3 production of Slowgirl, a new play by Greg Pierce, directed by Anne Kauffman and featuring Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele, makes its world premiere tonight, June 18, as the first production to be presented by LCT3 in its new home, The Claire Tow Theater, on the roof of Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Slowgirl will run for six weeks only through Sunday, July 15. All tickets are $20.

This fall, one of America's most acclaimed theatre ensembles will take on one of the greatest plays of the 20th century when the Steppenwolf Theatre Company production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? comes to Broadway to celebrate the play's 50th anniversary.

Producer Jordan Roth, playwright Bruce Norris, director Pam MacKinnon and cast members Crystal A. Dickinson, Brendan Griffin, Damon Gupton, Christina Kirk, Annie Parisse, Jeremy Shamos and Frank Wood celebrated the Tony Awards success of Clybourne Park with a champagne toast yesterday, June 12, backstage at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons celebrated its annual Spring Gala yesterday evening, June 11th at the event space 583 Park Avenue. Titled "The Highest Standard", the evening celebrated its five Pulitzer Prize-winning productions and honor the creators of these memorable works for the theater. The honorees were James Lapine (Sunday in the Park with George), Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park), Stephen Sondheim (Sunday in the Park with George), Alfred Uhry (Driving Miss Daisy), Wendy Wasserstein (The Heidi Chronicles) and Doug Wright (I Am My Own Wife). Producer Jordan Roth announced today the 2012 Tony Award-winning "Best Play" Clybourne Park has extended its run a second time. The limited engagement has now been extended by three additional weeks, with tickets now on sale through Sunday, September 2 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street).

Women's Project will end its 34th season with an off-Broadway show of epic proportions when seven playwrights, four directors, three producers and five actors collaborate on one world premiere play titled from the famous Ellen Stewart quote We Play for The Gods. We Play for The Gods stars Annie Golden, Amber Gray, Alexandra Henrikson, Irene Sofia Lucio and Erika Rolfsud. It opens tonight, June 11, at 7:30pm for a run through Saturday, June 23, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street.
