Village Theatre announces its 2008-2009 Mainstage Season, comprised of five shows that explore the perils of young love and the thrill of a great story.

Before heading to Broadway, Mark Nadler will bring his one-man comedy-in-music adventure, Russian on the Side, to the Royal George Theatre Mainstage, 1641 North Halsted Street in Chicago, for a limited eight-week engagement, April 30 - June 15, 2008. (Previews begin April 22). The official press opening is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Lincoln Center Theater's new production of Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein's prize-winning musical classic South Pacific, directed by Bartlett Sher, begins performances Saturday, March 1 at 8PM at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Opening night is Thursday, April 3 at 6:30PM.

Ghostlight Records, a division of Sh-K-Boom Records, will release the world premiere recording of the Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway musical LoveMusik, which was nominated for four Tony Awards. The production starred Tony Award winners Michael Cerveris and Donna Murphy and featuring the songs of Kurt Weill. The recording, produced by Joel Moss with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer, will be available in stores and online on November 27.
