Nathan Leigh is a composer, writer, animator, and activist. He has composed music and designed sound for over 300 plays at theatres across the country. With Kyle Jarrow, Nathan co-created the musicals Big Money (WTF Boris Segall Fellowship 2008) and The Consequences (World Premiere 2012 at WHAT).

After a busy 2021 that saw the release of their House On Stilts visual EP and “Pirkei Avot” music video and video game, Nathan Leigh & The Crisis Actors show no signs of slowing down in the new year. MCC Theater announced today that Space Dogs, a new musical written by and starring Van Hughes (Burn All Night) and Nick Blaemire (Glory Days), will now begin previews on January 25, 2022 at MCC Theater (511 W 52nd Street New York, NY 10019) in the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater.

Space Dogs will begin previews at MCC Theater (511 W 52nd Street New York, NY 10019) on January 11, 2022 in the Susan & Ronald Frankel Theater. Directed by Ellie Heyman (amfAR’s Angels in America), Space Dogs will have an opening night on January 30, 2022 and play a limited run through February 20, 2022.

The Byzantine Choral Project will present ICONS/IDOLS: IRENE, a twelve-episode musical audio drama written by Helen Banner and composed by Grace Oberhofer.

The original production, co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail, and Vardalos, premiered in 2016 at The Public Theater and starred Vardalos in the leading role. It was directed by Kail, known to many theatregoers as the director of the hit musical Hamilton.

Performances continue through March 6, 2020 at Madame X in Manhattan's historic Greenwich Village, where it began performances in May 2019.
