Jesca Prudencio directs the cast of Ray Abruzzo, Oscar Best, Nancy Linari, Evan Morris Reiser, Michelle Ortiz and Sabrina Sloan. I had the opportunity to throw out a few questions to Fernanda about King Liz, as well as her writing career.

Geffen Playhouse today announced the full cast for the West Coast premiere of its production of King Liz, written by Fernanda Coppel (Chimichangas and Zoloft, AYA or Dear Lover) and directed by Jesca Prudencio (Interstate, The Great Leap).

Disney XD has ordered a third season of the Emmy Award-nominated animated series 'Marvel's Spider-Man' for a spring 2020 premiere. The web-slinging series follows Peter Parker, who is learning to navigate life as the teenage superhero Spider-Man. In the third season, titled 'Marvel's Spider-Man: Maximum Venom,' Spider-Man is pushed to his breaking point when Venom summons an earth-shattering threat from its home planet. The announcement was made today by Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD.

Marvel's most popular superhero, Spider-Man, returns in an all-new action-packed season when 'Marvel's Spider-Man' season two debuts with a one-hour telecast featuring back-to-back episodes, MONDAY, JUNE 18 (6:30 p.m. EDT), on Disney XD, DisneyNOW and Disney XD VOD. Following the premiere weekend, new episodes will debut every Monday through August. Season two will feature higher stakes and epic battles as Spidey faces-off against new heroes and villains, some of which are voiced by exciting guest stars, including Sofia Carson (Disney's 'Descendants'), Booboo Stewart (Disney's 'Descendants'), Nathaniel Potvin ('MECH-X4'), NASCAR racer Ryan Blaney and social media sensation Teala Dunn.

The highly anticipated new animated series MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN will debut with a one-hour premiere on SATURDAY, AUGUST 19 (7:00-8:00 a.m. EDT), on Disney XD, and on the Disney XD App and VOD (12:01 a.m. EDT)

On last night's episode of ABC's hit comedy series MODERN FAMILY entitled 'Send Out the Clowns, Tony Award-Winner Ellen Barkin ('The Big Easy,' 'Ocean's Thirteen') and Bobby Cannavale ('Will & Grace,' 'Third Watch') made guest star appearances. The episode took place at the funeral service for a beloved clown mentor which reunited Cameron with his estranged ex-clown partner, Lewis (Bobby Cannavale). Also in the episode, Phil was serious about landing a very important listing, only to get trumped by a notorious bulldozer of an agent, Verna Roth (Ellen Barkin); and Manny had a cool new friend, which made both Jay and Gloria suspicious.
