Francesca Amari will debut a new show entitled 'Songbirds: The Women In My Head' on October 20, 2013 at 2 PM in Palm Desert at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center. The show will feature material from multiple genres from Broadway to contemporary by singers and songwriters including; Carolyn Leigh, Dorothy Fields, Ella Fitzgerald, Linda Ronstadt, Eva Cassidy, Nancy LaMott and more. Joining Francesca will be pianist Joel Baker.

Broadway veteran, recording artist, and San Diego resident Janene Lovullo will perform her latest cabaret concert 'Broadway, Intimate' at the Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center today, September 29, 2013 at 2 PM. Inspired by songs from the Broadway stage, Ms. Lovullo and musical director Christopher Marlowe have combined standards into a new contemporary style that highlights Janene's incredible instrument that can go from dynamic to a whisper.

NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center has announced a new monthly concert series, 'Music at the Mansion', on Sunday, June 30, at 3pm. Performers include Ted Stafford and Lorinda Lisitza, Ami Brabson and Sidney Myer. The featured performer in the 'Young Musician Moment' will be Henry Garner.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts presents the Tony Award-winning musical sensation, SPRING AWAKENING, with book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, based on the play by Frank Wedekind. The show features musical direction by John Glaudini, choreography by Dana Solimando and is directed by Brian Kite. But recording this single was a true labor of love and I could not have done without a few exceptionally talented friends. For over twenty-five years, the late Bradshaw Smith (Founder & Executive Producer of "Broadway Beat" and Applause Video) was the theater world's preeminent videographer, capturing over 1,000 performances on Broadway, off-Broadway, in cabaret halls and beyond that now, because of him, live on today. Bradshaw Smith died on January 16, 2012, at age 57, following a sudden and severe stroke. To conclude the intimate memorial, Bradshaw's longtime friend and editor, Jonathan Frank, compiled the best of Bradshaw's work as a video artist.
