In celebration of Lunar New Year, the iSING! Suzhou International Young Artists Festival announced the North American premiere of Echoes of Ancient Tang Poems on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 7:30 PM at the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall in Philadelphia, and Saturday, January 7, at 7:30 PM at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York.

'Every Good Boy Deserves Favour' is a political satire that arrived on the NCPA stage for a rare performance. This spectacle was written by Tom Stoppard - the story of a political dissident in the Soviet Union. The play is accompanied by a 45-piece orchestra, performed by the Symphony Orchestra of India, which itself becomes a character of the play, adding to the crests and troughs of a prison-asylum's inhabitants.

Excitement filled the air as the Shea's Broadway season kicked off with Disney's FROZEN. Adults and children clad in costumes and clutching their Olaf dolls patiently entered the theatre, all wearing their obligatory face masks. Covid was not going to dampen anyone’s spirits. The warm Buffalo evening welcomed the slick crystalline production that is sure to charm audiences of all ages.

The season will feature Shakespeare's Measure for Measure directed by Blanche McIntyre, Hamlet directed by Sean Holmes, The Merchant of Venice directed by Abigail Graham, and a festive reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's The Fir Tree written by Hannah Khalil. Alongside productions in the Playhouse, there will also be two week-long festivals (including the return of Shakespeare and Race) and half-term events for families.

Brave Spirits Theatre is excited to announce a virtual summer staged reading festival celebrating the history plays of the English early modern stage. A supplement to BST's two-year Shakespeare's Histories project, these plays reveal the breadth and popularity of the history genre during Shakespeare's era. Moved to an online event due to COVID-19, these plays are being planned and performed not only by the Histories ensemble, but also collaborators from across the world.
