After the highly successful London workshop, which sold out in less than a week, and due to popular demand, Film Fest Lab has managed to arrange a second date for the Peter Webber Directing Workshop, this time in the sunny city of Lisbon in Portugal. CAT Theatre continues its 50th Anniversary Season with Enchanted April which runs from March 21 thru April 5, 2014. Enchanted April was chosen by CAT patrons as the show they would most like to see repeated from CAT's 50-year history. 'The Enchanted April' was written by Elizabeth von Arnim and the novel was adapted to the stage by Kane Campbell. The 1991 film version featured Miranda Richardson, Alfred Molina and Joan Plowright. Museum of the Moving Image's ongoing series See It Big! presents classic and contemporary films on the big screen in the beautiful Sumner M. Redstone Theater. In November and December, the Museum will showcase 22 films photographed by some of the world's greatest cinematographers, including Gordon Willis, Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, Nestor Almendros, Raoul Coutard, James Wong Howe, and more. Fox Searchlight has released the first trailer for, inspired by the true story of Dido Elizabeth Belle. Directed by BAFTA Award winner Amma Asante and written by Misan Sagay, Belle features Gugu Mbatha-Raw in her first starring role along with Tom Wilkinson, Emily Watson, Sarah Gadon, Penelope Wilton, Miranda Richardson, Tom Felton and Matthew Goode. National Geographic to Adapt Bill O'Reilly's Upcoming Book KILLING JESUS

With the record-breaking success of the National Geographic Channel (NGC) factual drama of Bill O'Reilly's best-selling history 'Killing Lincoln,' NGC President Howard T. Owens announced today that the network will once again join forces with Scott Free Productions to produce a film based on 'Killing Jesus: A History,' the recently announced book from O'Reilly with co-author Martin Dugard, to be published by Henry Holt and Company on Sept. 24, 2013. The announcement comes as the network is also in pre-production on the film adaptation of 'Killing Kennedy,' expected to air globally on National Geographic Channels later this year. (more...)
