by David Clarke - Feb 4, 2013

I've been writing for Houston's BroadwayWorld page for a brief 8 months now, and one thing that I quickly learned and came to love about Houston is that there is always a wide selection of venues and titles to choose from. In All Too Human: An Evening with Clarence Darrow, Henry Miller-a trial lawyer himself-explores (among others) 'The Scopes Monkey Trial' , where Darrow defended a teacher's right to teach the theory of evolution in a school in Tennessee; as well as the controversial trial of 'Leopold and Loeb'. Miller's one-act show gives us a fresh insight into why this giant of jurisprudence inspired generations, and left such an indelible mark on the nation.
