With the help of Tony and Grammy Award nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies on Broadway, NBC's Smash, CBS's Supergirl, and films The Last Five Years and Joyful Noise), and students from A.C.T.'s Master of Fine Arts Program and Young Conservatory, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) raised over $500,000 at its 2016 Season Gala, SUPERGALA!, which took place on Thursday, April 14 at the historic Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.

The 6th annual BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - a concert that raises much-needed funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation - was held last night at the Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47 St.). The Irish Repertory Theatre, which 'encourages the development of works focusing on the Irish and Irish-American experience, and produces works of other cultures interpreted through the lens of an Irish sensibility,' continues the 10th season of the Irish Rep Reading Series. A staged reading of Jennifer O'Grady's play Charlotte's Letters will be held on Friday, January 29 at 3pm EST at the DR2 Theater, 103 East 15th Street (the Irish Repertory Theatre's temporary home during current renovations). The Irish Rep's literary manager, Kara Manning, will direct the reading. Tickets are free, and the event is open to the public. An RSVP to 212-727-2737 is suggested.
