The highly anticipated new musical Waitress, opens Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), with previews starting on Friday, March 25, 2016. Waitress played a sold out limited engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. TUCK EVERLASTING is brought to life in a sweeping production which features a book by Tony Award® nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde) and award-winning author Tim Federle (Better Nate Than Ever), music by Chris Miller (The Burnt Part Boys), lyrics by Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys), and direction and choreography by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw (Something Rotten!, Aladdin, The Book of Mormon). TUCK EVERLASTING, which debuted in 2015 at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre, will begin previews on Thursday, March 31, 2016 and officially open on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). Kokandy Productions is pleased to launch its 2016 season with the Chicago premiere of the dark "mean teen" comedy HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL, based on the hit 1980s cult film of the same name, from the award winning-team of creative team of Kevin Murphy (Reefer Madness, Desperate Housewives) and Laurence O'Keefe (Bat Boy, Legally Blonde). Laura Benanti (Amalia), Zachary Levi (Georg),Gavin Creel (Kodaly), Michael McGrath(Sipos), Jane Krakowski (Ilona) and Byron Jennings (Maraczek) star in Roundabout's new Broadway production ofSHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed byWarren Carlyle with musical direction by Paul Gemignani. This classic musical comedy features a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by Jerry Bock. Check out the cast in action here!

Roundabout Theatre Company hosted the 50th Anniversary Gala: "Spring Gala 2016: Celebrating 50 Years of Extraordinary Theatre" in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria (301 Park Avenue, NYC). The evening was a celebration of Roundabout's 50th Anniversary and recognized the accomplishments of six-time Tony winnerAudra McDonald and Roundabout's Chairman of the Board Tom Tuft and present them with The Jason RobardsAward for Excellence in Theatre. The 88th ACADEMY AWARDS aired Sunday, February 28, 2016, from the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood. The Oscar presentation was also televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide. Comedian, actor and filmmaker Chris Rock returned as host of the event for a second time. Claudie Blakley, Marcus Fraser, Mark Hadfield and Alex Macqueen join Kenneth Branagh and Rob Brydon in theKenneth Branagh Theatre Company's new comedy THE PAINKILLER, the fifth production in the Plays at the Garrick season. The 6th annual BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - a concert that raises much-needed funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation - was held last night at the Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47 St.).
