Founder Rosie O'Donnell and Artistic & Executive Director Lori Klinger of Rosie's Theater Kids announce that tickets are now available for purchase to  PASSING IT ON: An Evening of Mentorship taking place on Sunday, March 24 at 7:00 PM at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues).  

ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS celebrated their 15th anniversary by honoring Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor, singer, director, composer, and playwright, Billy Porter. Hosted by Rosie O'Donnell featuring performance by Rosie's Theater Kids, the event welcomed stars of stage and screen. One of the country's most dynamic and successful programs for the performing arts - ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS, located on West 45th Street in Manhattan - will make its 5th annual trip to Martha's Vineyard August 12-18, it has been announced by Lori Klinger, Artistic and Executive Director of ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS (RTKids).

The Broadway League is pleased to announce that Rosie's Theater Kids will showcase a special performance at Turnstyle (located beneath 8th Ave., between 57th and 58th Streets) on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:30pm in anticipation of Kids' Night on Broadway. The Broadway-themed program will be free and open to the public. Kids' Night on Broadway will take place in New York City on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.

Rosie's Theater Kids has joined the Newman's Own Foundation $500K Holiday Challenge, a fundraising competition on CrowdRise, the largest crowdfunding platform for good.

Rosie's Theater Kids - the after-school performing arts program for students from NYC's public schools - will honor the legendary Broadway musical THE LION KING on the occasion of the show's 20th anniversary at RTKids annual fall gala on Monday, November 6 starting at 6:30 pm at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

One of the country's most dynamic and successful after-school programs for the performing arts - ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS, located on West 45th Street in Manhattan - has assembled a summer of study and performance for its student body of youngsters from Title 1 schools in NYC, it has been announced by Lori Klinger, Artistic and Executive Director of ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS (RTKids).

Broadway stars Jessie Mueller (Tony Award, BEAUTIFUL), Chesney Snow (IN TRANSIT), Adrienne Warren (SHUFFLE ALONG), Christopher Jackson (HAMILTON), and BD Wong (M BUTTERFLY) joined 60 students from ROSIE'S THEATER KIDS - the musical theater and education organization for NYC public school students -- on stage at the school's annual spring benefit evening, entitled 'Passing It On' at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68 St. between Park and Lexington Avenues) on Sunday evening, April 23. Mark DeGarmo Dance held their festive Award Ceremony and Celebration on November 13 at The Clemente, to honor Oleg Briansky and Mireille Briane with the 2015 'Educational Visionary' Lifetime Achievement Award for their work as 'visionaries who have promoted innovation in education through the arts.'

Today, November 17th, Marianna Bottier, 15-years-old, of New York City, will visit the White House to receive an award from First Lady Michelle Obama on behalf of Rosie's Theater Kids (RTKids), which will be recognized for its effectiveness in promoting learning and life skills in young people by engaging them in the creative youth development programs. The RTKids ACTE II (A Commitment to Excellence) scholarship program will receive the 2015 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award, the nation's highest honor for these programs.

Ballet luminaries OLEG BRIANSKY and MIREILLE BRIANE will receive the 2015 'Educational Visionary' Lifetime Achievement Award, as 'visionaries who have promoted innovation in education through the arts.'  Partners in life and dance for over 50 years, Briansky and Briane are being honored for their distinguished careers as dancers and choreographers, as well as for their exemplary role as founders and teachers at The Briansky Ballet Center for over 45 years.  Presenter will be Lori Klinger, Artistic and Executive Director of Rosie's Theater Kids, and host is comedian Nat Towsen, standup comedian and host of Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour. The evening includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks, a silent auction of glamorous goods including gift certificates, dinners and vacations, and dancing to a hip DJ.
