The Drama League (Executive Artistic Director Gabriel Stelian-Shanks) has announced full casting for the newly reimagined annual event DirectorFest, a multi-week, city-wide festival focusing on the art and future of contemporary American stage directing at various locations around NYC: The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture (18 Bleecker Street), The Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas), and The Drama Book Shop (250 West 40thStreet) from January 13-22, 2018. BroadwayWorld has just learned that bare, the movie is in the works from Tony nominated producers Hillary Butorac Weaver and Janet Billig Rich and Tony nominated director Kristin Hanggi at the helm. Hanggi was the original director of the musical and adapted the screenplay for the film.

On Monday October 16, 16 Wicked women gathered in song in The Green Room 42. The Green Elixir Mixer was a one night only concert featuring some of the most iconic actresses to have ever played the roles of Glinda and Elphaba in Wicked. The lineup included original Broadway cast members, current cast members and so many in between.

This today night, October 19th, BROADWAY SESSIONS offers up a look at the hysterical new musical web series Wisco Queens. Audience members will be treated to musical numbers on video, as well as live performance by the cast.

Alyssa Fox, Brandi Chavonne Massey, Carrie St. Louis, Emily Mechler, Jenna Leigh Green, Jessica Vosk, Julia Murney, Kara Lindsay, Kate Loprest, Kate Reinders, Kennedy Caughell, Kristy Cates, Laura Woyasz, Laurel Harris, Lauren Zakrin and other surprise guests are scheduled to perform in a Green Elixir Mixer: A Reunion of past and present witches of Oz.

Tonight, September 21, The Marvelous Wonderettes, currently playing Off-Broadway at Theatre Row, welcomes Halle Morse to Springfield High School as Cindy Lou Huffington.

On Sunday Aug, 20th The Marvelous Wonderettes, currently playing Off-Broadway at Theatre Row, bid adieu to long time cast member Ryann Redmond and original cast member Sally Schwab.  This week the production welcomes two new cast members to Springfield High School.

Jenna Leigh Green is most known to television audiences as Sabrina Spellman's nemesis Libby Chessler on three seasons of the hit ABC sitcom 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch.' She played the role of Heather in the Touchstone Pictures release 'You Again' opposite Kristen Bell, Sigourney Weaver, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Betty White. Ms. Green also recently appeared opposite James Franco in the film 'I Am Michael.'

Eva and Valentina Zazzali, will be performing with Broadway, TV & film's top talent this Sunday, July 23 at 9:30pm, singing 'I Know It's Today' from Shrek the Musical with Rozi Baker (Shrek, Mary Poppins, Bonnie & Clyde) in Tim Realbuto & Friends Sing Jeanine Tesori at Feinstein's/54 Below.

The Wick Theatre proudly presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Based on the 1991 Academy Award-winning animated feature film, the musical features music by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Wolverton. The stage version of Beauty and the Beast includes memorable new songs in addition to familiar ones from the animated version such as "Be Our Guest", "Gaston", and the title song "Beauty and the Beast".
