Toronto Fashion Week Announces New Partnerships & Events For SS2019

Toronto Fashion Week®, in collaboration with RESET, returns for a third season, Sept. 4-6. In addition to designer shows, Toronto Fashion Week will see returning programs such as Fashion Talks and new events to this season's schedule, including the launch of The Endings – a photography book by award-winning celebrity photographer Caitlin Cronenberg and production designer Jessica Ennis, and Best Dressed 2018 presented by Toronto Life and FASHION.

Colette is an upcoming biographical drama film based on the life of the French novelist Colette. Colette overcomes an abusive marriage to emerge as a leading writer in her country and a candidate for the Nobel Prize in Literature. The film is directed by Wash Westmoreland and written by Westmoreland and Richard Glatzer. The film stars Keira Knightley and Dominic West. It premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Bleecker Street will release the film on September 21, 2018.

Today it was announced that RED NOSE DAY, the national fundraising campaign to end child poverty, will return to NBC with a night of special primetime programming today, May 24, 2018.

Utah Symphony Presents Summer Community Concert Series

The Utah Symphony today announced the lineup for the 2018 summer community concert series in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas, several of which feature outdoor venues. The schedule includes Gina Bachauer Piano Competition Finals on June 22 and 23 at 7 PM at Abravanel Hall, Gallivan Center on Monday June 25, Disney in Concert: "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" on June 27 and 28 at Abravanel Hall, the Utah Symphony at Snowbasin Resort on June 29 and August 7, the Utah Symphony at Thanksgiving Point on July 2, the Utah Symphony at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center on July 3, and Jenny Oaks Baker with the Utah Symphony on August 1 at Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre. Ticketing information is posted with each concert. No tickets are required for the Gallivan Center and Utah Cultural Celebration Center performances, which are free to the public. Tickets for the other performances are on sale now with ticketing information available at www.utahsymphony.org.

The join the previously announced Elizabeth Moss, Amber Heard, Ashley Benson, Agyness Deyn, and Gayle Rankin. Alex Ross Perry wrote the film, and will also direct.
