THE BLACK BOX will present a concert celebrating the music of the highest-grossing animated film of all time: Disney's Frozen. The concert will feature a narrated telling of Elsa and Anna's story with live performances of the film's songs as well as new music written for the current Broadway production. Enjoy the memorable songs of Kristen and Robert Lopez in concert on Tuesday, August 6 at 7:00 pm at THE BLACK BOX located at 15 W. Central St. in downtown Franklin. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for teens, $10 for youth 6-12, and $5 for kids 5 and under.
FSPA Alumni Return For HOMECOMING CABARET At The Black Box

Four alumni of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will return to Franklin for a one-night only "Homecoming Cabaret" on Saturday, June 22 at 8:00 pm at THE BLACK BOX. Madi Asgeirsson ('16), Pat Dutton ('11), Sam Evans ('18), and Katie Gray ('17) will be joined by the ACME Rhythm Section for an evening of entertainment presented in an intimate night-club atmosphere.

THE BLACK BOX launches a new Decades Series on Saturday, September 23 with The '60s A Musical Tribute at the downtown Franklin venue. Two shows will be presented at 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. Featuring a six-piece professional band and talented area singers in an intimate nightclub atmosphere, the tribute will showcase some of the greatest songs of the decade including hits by music legends Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, Frankie Valli, Simon and Garfunkel, Otis Redding, the Rolling Stones, the Mamas and the Papas, The Doors, and many more.

Electric Youth (EY) 2017, the international touring ensemble of talented singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), headlines at THE BLACK BOX in downtown Franklin on Saturday, January 28, debuting two shows at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Backed by an eight-piece band of world-class musicians, Electric Youth delivers a fun, high-energy evening of family entertainment with an extensive range of contemporary pop, classic rock, Broadway and country hits for audiences all ages. Electric Youth (EY), the international touring ensemble of singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), will perform at THE BLACK BOX in downtown Franklin on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. The event is a Bon Voyage Concert for Electric Youth, coming just days before the ensemble departs on June 23rd for a three-week concert tour of Austria and Italy. The group's 13th European tour will include a return Fourth of July show at Aviano Air Force Base to entertain U.S. Troops and families stationed abroad.

FSPA Ensembles to Perform at Disney World Later This Month

Twenty-nine local students from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will travel to Walt Disney World during the April school break to perform for Disney audiences and participate in master classes with Disney performers, choreographers and directors. This is FSPA's 21st year of Disney performances as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.
