The award-winning cast and production team of Paramount's summer blockbuster “Book Club” will be presented with the “Stanley Kramer Mad World Comedy Award” at the first annual Palm Springs International Comedy Festival's awards gala, scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2018.

UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) presents Los Angeles' legendary UnCabaret, celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking comedy in a one-time-only evening of wildly fun, idiosyncratic live performance, music and never-before-seen footage. On Monday, October 22, The Groundlings will launch a spooky new episode of their hilarious sketch comedy online video series, Groundlings Originals. The Halloween-themed episode titled "Take One" follows mama bear, Tanya Jones, as she does whatever it takes to get her son some candy. The episode was directed by Alex Staggs, written by Kiel Kennedy and Lyric Lewis, and stars Kiel Kennedy, Lyric Lewis, Michael Churven and Patty Guggenheim.

The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), in association with TBS, announced today the addition of more than 100 shows to its 2018 line-up. The festival runs from November 5th through November 11th at some of New York City's most iconic venues including the Beacon Theatre, Carnegie Hall, Carolines on Broadway, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, among others.

Top comedians and musical artists will unite for the 12th annual Stand Up for Heroes (SUFH) event at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Monday, November 5th. Jimmy Carr, Eric Church, Jim Gaffigan, Seth Meyers, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart, and other surprise guests will take the stage to honor our nation's post-9/11 impacted veterans and their families, and raise funds and awareness to support the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF).

The Groundlings Theatre has announced that Groundlings and SNL alumna, Julia Sweeney's brand new solo show, I, As Well, at The Gary Austin Theatre at The Groundlings School. The show opens on Sunday, September 16th, with six other scheduled performances to follow.
