Beginning August 5, getTV will begin airing episodes of the popular sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,” starring Valerie Bertinelli (“One Day at a Time”), Jane Leeves (“Frasier”), Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me”) and Betty White (“The Golden Girls”). The series, which ran on TVLand from 2010 to 2015, will air August 5 at 6PM ET.

A new group of entertainment professionals in the categories of Motion Pictures, Television, Live TheatreLive Performance, Recording and Radio have been selected to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the full list was announced today, June 20, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Selection Committee. The newest honorees were chosen from hundreds of nominations at a selection committee meeting held in June and will be ratified by the Hollywood Chamber's Board of Directors. Like the rest of you, I've spent this week obsessing over 'Fosse Verdon' on FX and especially Gwen Verdon, played brilliantly on the series by Michelle Williams, in a performance that makes you want to reinvestigate what made Gwen so great. Sweet Charity is the perfect place to start. Gwen became a star and won her first Tony in a featured role in Can Can and she gained worldwide acclaim (and number 2 in a total of four Tonys) as Lola in Damn Yankees on stage and screen and of course there were many other shows and movies and TV appearances, but Sweet Charity was the show Bob Fosse (and Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields and Neil Simon) created just for her. She may have lost the Tony to Angela Lansbury in Mame, but Gwen got that iconic poster and all those songs.

On this morning's episode of TODAY, actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth performs "Give It Away."  Kathie Lee Gifford and David Friedman wrote this song for Mary O'Connor, the waitress who is honored in Kathie Lee's 'Everyone Has a Story' series for donating her kidney to a stranger.

Steele Spring Stage Rights, the licensing company that represents The Marvelous Wonderettes, has just acquired the licensing and theatrical performance rights to the award-winning off-Broadway musical comedy smash that sets William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure in the Wild West.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenna Bush Hager is set to replace Kathie Lee Gifford on the fourth hour of TODAY. She will join Hoda Kotb after Gifford steps away, as previously announced, in April.

'NBC's New Year's Eve' will kick off 2019 with the biggest names in music as Jennifer Lopez and Bebe Rexha join the previously announced line-up that includes Diana Ross, Kelly Clarkson, Andy Grammer, John Legend and Blake Shelton, as well as Keith Urban and Brett Young, who will perform live from Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight: New Year's Eve in Nashville. 

As seen on NBC's TODAY, country music star, and Grand Ole Opry veteran Tim Atwood was recently reunited onstage with fifty-one year Grand Ole Opry member, and country music icon, Jeannie Seely. Atwood & Seely - who've accompanied each other many times over the years on the Grand Ole Opry stage - performed a duet of Bill Gaither's gospel classic “There's Something About That Name' at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena for the Fifth Annual 'Nashville Senior Christmas ShinnDig.'

Country music royalty and a fifty-one year member of the Grand Ole Opry, Jeannie Seely, took the stage on Friday, December 14 at Lipscomb University's Allen Arena for the Fifth Annual Nashville Senior Christmas ShinnDig for a very special performance of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and "I'll Be Home For Christmas." Seely also joined Tim Atwood on his performance of "Something About that Name". Performers in addition to Seely and Atwood included Kathie Lee Gifford, Charlie McCoy, Julie Roberts, Matt Bagher, Paul Allen Coon and Sarah Martin.

At the annual Wheeling Jamboree Christmas show, headliner Tim Atwood was surprised during his performance with a very special invitation. An invitation to become an official member of The Wheeling Jamboree, one of the last remaining country music shows of its kind, second only to The Grand Ole Opry. This honor came as a total surprise to Tim as Dave Heath, president of the organization, interrupted him between songs and made the formal announcement.

After more than ten years, Kathie Lee Gifford will leave as the co-host of the fourth hour of “Today” on NBC, according to Variety.

An all-star cast of celebrities - from Michael Bublé and Ellie Kemper to Kenan Thompson and Busy Philipps - will dish on the most talked-about stories that made for an unforgettable 2018. The two-hour special airs Monday, December 31 at 8pm/7c on NBC.
