Beginning July 14, Cumberland County Playhouse presents All Shook Up, written by Tony-Award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro and featuring the music of Elvis Presley! 

The stakes are higher than ever in this stunning all-singing, all-dancing dynamic stage musical, as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt, destroying their beloved undersea world. Chaos ensues. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage. The power of optimism really can save the world!

Beginning June 9, Cumberland County Playhouse presents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory The New Musical! Roald Dahl's treasured tale is now Crossville's Golden Ticket! It's the perfect recipe for a delectable treat: songs from the original film including “Pure Imagination”, “The Candy Man” and “I've Got a Golden Ticket,” alongside a toe-tapping and ear-tickling new score from the songwriters of Hairspray.

Norte Maar, a committed Brooklyn-based think-tank dedicated to the creation, promotion, and presentation of collaborations in the visual, literary, and the performing arts, together with Brooklyn Ballet, presents Counterpointe8, a curated performance series of new choreographic works by female artists and the pointe shoe. Six women choreographers have been paired with six female visual artists to collaborate and create both a new physical and visual work by each while investigating the process of creation, inspiration and development. The annual series will be presented February 28- March 1, at The Mark O'Donnell Theater at the Actors Fund Arts Center in downtown Brooklyn. 

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company is bringing back the bird and reuniting the entire cast and creative team of Aaron Posner's Stupid f**king Bird after its runaway success in the summer of 2013. Nominated for eight Helen Hayes Awards and winner for Outstanding Resident Play and Outstanding New Play or Musical, Stupid f**king Bird is directed by Woolly Artistic Director Howard Shalwitz and runs for three weeks: July 28, 2014 through August 17, 2014.
