Benjamin D. Hale: A Night of Cosmic American Music
Cabaret Jazz, Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Las Vegas, Nevada tonight, January 31, 2015 (Two Shows)

Benjamin D. Hale will step away from his iconic role as Johnny Cash in Harrah's production of Million Dollar Quartet to headline his own show backed by a
stellar band including Rob Whited on drums, Eric Walters on guitar, Joel Fergu- son on pedal steel, Kyle Adoor on bass and Matt Green on keys, with special guest singers including Las Vegas' own gem, Kristen Hertzenberg. Hale is a classically trained singer-songwriter who seamlessly fuses country, blues, gospel and folk to create his own brand of new and original music. He is melodic like McCartney, with the range of Orbison, Waylon's wailing, with a hint of Sam Cooke's soul. Known for his versatility and wide vocal range, Robin Leach states, "Benjamin Hale, onetime the understudy for Raoul in "Phantom -- the Las Vegas Spectacular" at The Venetian, scores big as Johnny Cash, and it's a voice so low, Trace Adkins would stoop to find it."- Robin Leach Feb. 21, 2013. Now Vegas audiences will have the opportunity to experience this exciting singer-songwriter first hand for two shows only.

Tickets are $29-$45 and are available at TheSmithCenter.com or by calling 702-749-2000. For more information visit www.benjamindhale.com.
