The complete cast for the world premiere Chicago production of the new comedy musical, TOOTSIE has just been announced. Joining previously announced Tony Award nominee SANTINO FONTANA as Michael Dorsey will be LILLI COOPER as Julie Nichols, SARAH STILES as Sandy Lester, JOHN BEHLMANN as Max Von Horn, ANDY GROTELUESCHEN as Jeff Slater, JULIE HALSTON as Rita Mallory, MICHAEL McGRATH as Stan Fields, and REG ROGERS as Ron Carlisle.

Hot off her 7-week tour with synth legend Howard Jones, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Rachael Sage has released her cover of Jones' song 'No One Is To Blame' via Billboard. Molissa Fenley and Company, in collaboration with percussionist Frank Cassara and violist Ralph Farris, will present an evening of dance and live music, with scores by four contemporary composers. The program features four dances from Fenley's Water Table, three of which are New York premieres. The program also includes a new configuration of Fenley's 1979 work Mix. Performances are June 21–23 (Thursday–Saturday) at 8pm, at Danspace Project, 131 East 10th Street, New York, NY 10003.

The works of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award® winner AUGUST WILSON (Fences, The Piano Lesson, Jitney) will be honored this spring with the Legacy Award, Tony Award® nomineeDAVID YAZBEK (The Band's Visit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Full Monty) will be honored with the Creative Achievement Award.

THEATRE FORWARD and Chairman JOHN THOMOPOULOUS will lead a celebration to support American theatre at the annual Chairman's Awards Gala on Monday, April 9th at The Pierre New York (2 East 61st Street at Fifth Avenue). The Chairman's Awards Gala supports the work of Theatre Forward, currently celebrating its 40th Anniversary season, which is dedicated to advancing American theatres and its communities through its Educating Through Theatre and Advancing Strong Theatre initiatives.

American singer, songwriter and musician GREGORY DARLING partnered with Elmore Magazine (3/13) to premiere the lead single 'My Sleeping Heart' and itsofficial video. Following two sold-out, off-Broadway runs in New York, Out of My Comfort Zone, a new rock musical about self-identity, gender, love, stereotypes, cyber-bullying, and friendship, will premier in London at The Redbridge Drama Centre. Written by husband-and-wife team Ivy Vale (book, lyrics and music) and Rick Reil (music), Out of My Comfort Zone will be presented and staged by The Redbridge Musical Theatre Company for three performances at Redbridge Drama Centre, Churchfields, South Woodford, London, E18 2RB, from March 1-3, 2018.

Award-winning singer-songwriter and eclectic multi-instrumentalist Rachael Sage will be joining 80s pop pioneer Howard Jones for his nationwide U.S. tour kicking off January 24th in Seattle, WA. Sage has often named Jones as a seminal influence on her music and previously supported him during the UK leg of his 2017 world tour. Along the tour, Sage will be previewing material from her new album 'Myopia', due May 2018.

American singer, songwriter and musician GREGORY DARLING will release MADLY, his debut solo album in the U.S. in late April (exact date TBA), after having released three albums throughout the U.K. and Europe, with the first two discs achieving Top Ten positions. MADLY, due out on FOD Records, will be preceded by the March 19 release of the first single, 'My Sleeping Heart,'an upbeat slice of piano-based soulful pop marked by his distinctive croon, cascading melodies and incisive lyrics about a busted-up relationship. TOOTSIE's story is hitting the stage! Scott Sanders Productions announced today that the world premiere of the new comedy musical, TOOTSIE, will play a pre-Broadway engagement this fall at Broadway In Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph Street, Chicago, IL) from September 11 October 14. TOOTSIE will come to Broadway in spring 2019.
