Broadway favorite Frenchie Davis (American Idol, The Voice, Broadway's RENT) will make her Broadway Sings for Pride debut in 'ROAR' which will celebrate NYC Gay Pride. Frenchie known for her powerful voice will be apart of group numbers and a solo piece during the event. Frenchie appeared on American Idol's second season where she showcased her soulful voice. She made her Broadway debut in RENT as the 'Seasons of Love' soloist in the Tony-award winning show RENT. She was also seen in the starring role of Effie in a West Coast-touring production of Dreamgirls, which appeared in Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle. Davis also made it to the top 8 of The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team.

Summer 2015 kicks off with star-power in Provincetown this Memorial Day Weekend. Leading off for Producing Artistic Director Mark Cortale's inaugural Broadway @ Town Hall season is comedian-actress Rosie O'Donnell with Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host, for one show only on Sunday, May 24 at 9:00 PM, and featuring opening guest, indie rocker Melissa Ferrick. Rosie's stage credits include the Broadway productions of "Grease," "Seussical," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Love, Loss and What I Wore," and the Encores! production of "No, No, Nanette." In addition to her acclaimed stand-up comedy and film careers, she is perhaps best known on television as the host and Executive Producer of the Emmy Award winning talk/variety series "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," and more recently for her return to daytime television as co-host of ABC's "The View." Memorial Day weekend also includes the one-two punch of Indie Rock star Melissa Ferrick back for her fifth consecutive season with two shows on May 23 at 6:30 PM & 9:00 PM, and the hysterical brand new drag comedy "Designing Women Meets The Golden Gals" starring Varla Jean Merman, Ryan Landry, Olive Another and Liza Lott will open for a summer-long run on May 23 and 24 at 7:30 PM (running through September 5). Previews of this 6-week limited Off-Broadway engagement begins May 21 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre with opening set for Sunday, May 31 at 1pm.

At a ceremony held last night in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2015 MAC Awards. The show was hosted by Karen Mason, with musical direction by Barry Levitt, and was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts.

Tonight's (February 20) 9 pm performance of "RuPaul's Drag Race Tour" has been POSTPONED. At this writing their tour bus is broken down in Angola, IN, with no chance of the troupe being able to travel to Playhouse Square in time for their 9 pm curtain.

"The Vaudevillians" is not an act that you'd expect to see at the Seattle Rep but then they've never really played it safe. But catching an act that I remember seeing at Balagan's "Smorgasbord" nights back when they were in the basement of the noodle house now strutting around the stage at the Rep is a bit odd but just shows how far this duo has come. From late night cabaret to the toast of Off-Broadway, "The Vaudevillians" have matured into a solidly hilarious evening that spotlights two very gifted performers.

Seattle artists and Cornish College graduates Jerick Hoffer and Richard Andriessen (widely known as their performance personas Jinkx Monsoon and Major Scales) bring their New York smash hit The Vaudevillians back to Seattle to open the Leo K. season, beginning tonight, October 3.
