Travis Moser Releases New Linda Ronstadt Tribute Album JUST ONE LOOK

Travis Moser, a staple of the New York City cabaret scene, has released a new album of songs in tribute to legendary singer Linda Ronstadt. Travis's latest full length album, titled Just One Look: The Songs of Linda Ronstadt, was recorded live and is based on his sold-old show of the same name, which premiered at The Green Room 42 and featured special guests Molly Pope, Jack Bartholet, Cathy Cervenka and Daryl Glenn. During the run of the show, Front Row Center raved, 'If you ever see Travis Moser's name come up on a marquee, treat yourself and get a ticket.'

The Highwomen—the new collaborative movement formed by Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires—debut their new cover of Fleetwood Mac's “The Chain” today. The rendition is from the official motion picture soundtrack for the new movie, The Kitchen, which stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss and is out next Friday, August 9. It was Up UP and Away last night at the Eissey Campus Theatre as Jimmy Webb, one of America's most highly regarded songwriters spent an evening playing and singing his music for the Palm Beach Audience. It's always thrilling to hear the stories behind the creation of iconic music, and I was thinking as Jimmy performed his songs, I guess this it what have been like if the likes of George Gershwin and the other great composers were around to spend an evening describing the process and inspiration of creating music and lyrics.
