Theatre Three Artistic Director Jeffrey Schmidt has announced the full production calendar for its downstairs Theatre Too studio space, including three new works from local playwrights and the final run of the annual musical comedy 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.'

???????Love in all its glory will be celebrated in this witty musical comedy revue. I Love You, You're Perfect Now Change, is everything you've secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit.

Playwright Mashuq Deen (New Dramatists Fellow 2022) brings the story of his own transgender journey as a member of a traditional South Asian family and Playwright Catherine Filloux, winner of more than 40 awards for playwriting, activism and peace work, brings her latest work to the stage at New York City's first arts-advocacy festival of its kind, the International Human Rights Art Festival.

Pines Dinner Theatre continues its 2017 season bringing Off-Broadway's award-winning and second-longest running musical I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change to the stage. 

Theatre Three will celebrate Valentine's Day at I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change with a special offer for patrons attending the show this weekend (Today, February 9, through Sunday, February 12). Tickets to these performances are $50 and the price includes a long-stemmed rose, artisanal chocolates and a sparkling wine toast with the critically acclaimed cast after the show. Tickets are on sale now at the Theatre Three Box Office (www.theatre3dallas.com; 214.871.3300, option 1). Theatre Three is located in The Quadrangle, 2800 Routh Street, Suite #168, Dallas, TX 75201.

Theatre Three announces the annual return engagement of its New Year's staple I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change from December 29, 2016 to February 12, 2017 in the downstairs Theatre Too space. With book and lyrics by Joe DiPietroand music by Jimmy Roberts, this celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as 'the relationship.' Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws, newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the 'seasoned citizen' set. 

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE opened at the Westside Theatre on August 1, 1996 and continued for a whopping 12 years making it the second longest-running musical in Off-Broadway history after THE FANTASTICKS.

There is a meme making the rounds on Facebook at the moment. Above an image of the cast of the television series, FRIENDS, a caption reads: 'This documentary of White Privilege is kinda long and hard to watch, but DAMN. Really lays it all out there.' This revival of I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE offers the musical theatre equivalent of that perception.

Sharon Playhouse, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Simpkins and Managing Director Justin Ball, proudly presents the Off Broadway musical hit, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, with performances August 4 - 14 at Sharon Playhouse Stage 2 (Bok Gallery - 49 Amenia Road). Opening night is August 4 at 7pm.
