During the Holiday Season, theatregoers looking to dodge 'fairy dust' and seek for something beyond the shadow of the Ghost of Christmas Future might as well have a Christmas stocking with a hole in it. Occasionally, the 'grownups' might find something like the dark and challenging THE SEAFARER, which played to meager audiences a few years back at Circuit; despite an exceptional cast (Tony Isbell, Jim Palmer, et al) and a fine production, this beautiful little play failed to bring in the audiences (it was one of my favorite theatrical experiences). The result is that PETER PAN, A TUNA CHRISTMAS, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and all their Yuletide ilk pretty much dominate the stages -- and why not? They are delightful experiences, eliciting all the joy and sentimentality one craves as the 25th approaches. However, for those who gag on eggnog, Playhouse on the Square has squeezed out a few performances of I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, the 'slice of life' musical with Book and Lyrics by Joe DiPietro and Music by Jimmy Roberts. Ironically, it's Playhouse's 'gift' to those who prefer to leave their Christmas spirit at home.

Golf Channel's Morning Drive will take a closer look at the art and science of golf course design all next week, Monday, Dec. 7 – Sunday, Dec. 13, as a part of 'Architecture Week.' Beginning Monday, Morning Drive will dedicate daily features on some of the game's most notable architects, courses and designs in golf; invite industry experts to Golf Channel's worldwide headquarters for roundtable discussions, including 2006 U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy, and highlight some of the legends of the game as special guests, including World Golf Hall-of-Famer Jack Nicklaus. Architecture Week also will give a glimpse into the future of golf course design.

Dare to Defy Productions, a burgeoning theater production company based in Dayton, OH, takes on the peaks and pitfalls in one of the longest running off-Broadway hits, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, music by Jimmy Roberts). This award-winning musical comedy about love in the suburbs, 0ften described as 'Seinfeld set to music,' is a hilarious look at love and relationships that is as touching and insightful as it is humorous. 

Two Muses Theatre, a non-profit, professional theatre based in West Bloomfield, Michigan, will produce three musicals, two plays and some very special events in their fifth season.

Masters Week begins on Sunday, April 5, with live coverage of the 2015 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship National Finals followed on Monday with the start of the network's Golf Central Live From the Masterssignature coverage. This year, Golf Channel will offer more than 80 total hours of live news and themed Masters programming from Augusta National Golf Club and Golf Channel's World Headquarters in Orlando. A 20-year owner/operator of his family-run golf course outside of Indianapolis, PGA of America President Ted Bishop explains how his long tenure in the golf industry helped prepare him for his role as one of the game's most influential voices on the next episode of In Play with Jimmy Roberts, airing Monday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
