I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE opened at the Westside Theatre on August 1, 1996 and continued for a whopping 12 years making it the second longest-running musical in Off-Broadway history after THE FANTASTICKS.

By its final performance on July 27, 2008, the production had surpassed the Broadway runs of such musicals as MY FAIR LADY, ANNIE, OKLAHOMA!, GREASE, MAN OF LA MANCHA, 42nd STREET, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, THE PRODUCERS, and HELLO, DOLLY!

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE is a musical joyride through the spectrum of dating, friendship, love, and marriage, and continues to score with audiences across the country and around the globe, winning eight international Best Musical awards.

Written by Tony Award-winning playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer Jimmy Roberts, the original cast of I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE featured Jordan Leeds, Robert Roznowski, 2016 Tony nominee Jennifer Simard, and Melissa Weil, under the direction of Joel Bishoff. Among the dozens of actors who joined the cast during the long Off-Broadway run included six-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein, Anne Bobby, Ron Bohmer, Adam Grupper, Jim Stanek, Darrin Baker, Janet Metz, Bob Walton, and Karyn Quackenbush.

I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE was produced Off-Broadway by James Hammerstein Productions, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard.
